Instagram: 600 Millionen aktive Nutzer

Instagram hat im offiziellen Blog das Erreichen von 600 Millionen aktiven Nutzern bekanntgegeben. Innerhalb der letzten sechs Monate konnte Instagram damit 100 Millionen neue, aktive Nutzer gewinnen:

Today we’re proud to announce our community has grown to more than 600 million Instagrammers. And the last 100 million of you joined in just the past six months.

Erst im Juni 2016 hatte Instagram 500 Mio. aktive Nutzer erreicht. Seit Dezember 2014 hat sich die Nutzerzahl sogar verdoppelt.

Today we’re proud to announce a community of more than 600 million Instagrammers. As the last 100 million of you have joined over the past six months, we’ve been focused on making the platform better for everyone. You have more ways to share than ever before with Instagram Stories, live video and disappearing photos and videos in Direct.
